A traditional sculpture depicting a stylised horse.
A standing horse, head held high, its body entirely covered in small bone plaques assembled as marquetry, enhanced with painted harness and fine metal chains.
These decorative sculptures draw on the celebrated funerary horses of the Tang dynasty (618–907), placed in the tombs of dignitaries as symbols of power and prestige. The grid of plaques and the fine dark specks characteristic of bone distinguish them from ivory pieces.
A piece of fine presence, a symbol of strength and movement.

A tribal bust adorned with shells and bronze.

An elegant modernist sculpture depicting a stylised woman of graceful bearing. A rare piece with harmonious curves and a brilliant gilt finish.

A wall panel decorated with a malachite bas-relief depicting a Mesoamerican dignitary in profile. Carved surround with geometric motifs.
