Description

An elegant modernist sculpture depicting a stylised woman of graceful bearing. A rare piece with harmonious curves and a brilliant gilt finish.

A slender, stylised female figure with simplified volumes and harmonious curves, whose gilt finish catches the light. It rests on a stone base.

Michel Jarry is a sculptor based in Nice, whose studio-gallery is in Vieux-Nice. Working the metal himself, he has received commissions from Prince Rainier III and became known for a metal bestiary (herons, cockerels, eagles) and modernist figures.

A rare piece with a timeless silhouette.
