Description
Original acrylic on canvas, 80 × 80 cm: a Mediterranean landscape in bold colours.
Original acrylic painting on canvas, signed Gilda. Hills striped with orange, red, yellow and green, slender cypresses and little white houses rise in tiers before a deep blue sea: a Mediterranean landscape recomposed in flat areas of bold colour and undulating lines.
This contemporary decorative style, drawing on Fauvism and naïve art, reinterprets the landscapes of Tuscany and the Mediterranean shores with great chromatic energy.
In a large square format, the canvas is presented on its stretcher, unframed: it brings a strong touch of colour to a light or contemporary interior.
